Instead of billing per container deployed, can we allot specific set of cpu, ram and storage to user for defined monthly bill which lets them run set number of containers?
Hi there – We don’t exactly have a way to do this right now, but there has been a lot of discussion over the last couple years about adding support for this. So there is a desire to offer this type of functionality, but nothing is planned at this time.
We do have managed service providers currently doing something similar by assigning dedicated virtual machines to a specific user (via user groups), and then only charging them for the VMs. This has a similar effect, but of course requires you to manually deploy virtual machines when you on-board a new customer.
